Professor in Automatic Control, I teach in the following two institutions:
I am a member of the Research Center for Automatic Control which is funded by the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS in french) (The department of Information and Engineering sciences) and the University of Lorraine (University of Lorraine)
I am the scientific leader of one of the five research groups of the lab entitled Dependability and system diagnosis which gathers 19 teachers researchers, 4 people in administrative and technical staff and 11 PhD students (01/01/12).

I currently serve as the responsible of the Department of Doctoral Education in Automatic Control of the Doctoral School IAEM Lorraine. I am also a member of the advisory board of that School.
I have been the co-ordinator, from January 2001 to December 2005, inside the GdR Modélisation, Analyse et Conduite des Systèmes dynamiques (French Automatic Control Research Group) of the working group dealing with Safety, dependability and supervision.
Since January 2006, I'm the head of the theme Dependability, Supervision and Maintenance of this French Automatic Control Research Group and belong to its directorate staff.
I am a membre of the IFAC Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes, TC 6.4.
